We create our pieces using recycled timbers which are sourced from locations far & wide. There is so much history & character in every slat & some of our timber is over 100 years old.


Handmade


We create furniture that is made to last & put so much love & hard work into every piece we create. The most important part of what we do us to ensure every customer is completely in love with their creation.


Unique


We build one of a kind creations. There is no possible way we re-create a piece identical to the last, as the variations in our timbers make each piece unique. We custom create in any dimensions, colour & size required.

About Us

Established in 2012, on the Gold Coast Australia, Recycle Me Creations (RMC) was born from a deep love of recycling & raw materials. In 2017 we relocated to the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland where our work shop & showroom reside in a rustic old dairy shed on over 100 acres.

We custom create divine recycled timber furniture that is built to last.

Jayne

A mum, wife and lover of all things handmade, Jayne began creating homewares in her early 20’s. She always joked that she was a carpenter in a previous life so her parents bought her a drop saw and her love of working with timber began. She has an eye for colour and spends most of her day with paint brush in hand, staining & painting every creation with so much love.

Mike

Mike is Dutch born, migrating to Australia in 2009. As with so many Northern Europeans, woodworking is something that comes very naturally. He has worked with timber all his life and gains enormous joy creating amazing furniture out of products that would have ended up as landfill. A total perfectionist, he puts so much energy into the design process ensuring each creation is strong, practical and long lasting. He began creating in his early teens by converting an old chicken coop Into a bar for he & his mates. The timber had originally been “borrowed” from a local coffin factory. And so his love of recycling began…..
